Unfold Games respects your privacy rights and is committed to protecting your personal information.

Because of that, we ask that you read this privacy policy carefully, as it contains important information on who we are, how and why we collect, store, use, and share personal information, your rights in relation to your personal information and on how to contact us and supervisory authorities.

1. Who we are

Unfold Games LLC (“Unfold Games”, “We”, or “Us”) collects, uses, and is responsible for certain personal information about you, as part of our Thank You Note Giveaway (the “Giveaway”).

For those in the European Union, we are regulated under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) which applies across the European Union (including in the United Kingdom) and we are responsible as controller of that personal information for the purposes of those laws.

2. The Personal Information We Collect and Use

Information collected by us: We collect your full name, email address, and shipping address when you submit it to us (your “Contact Information”).

How we use your personal information: We use your full name and shipping address to send you a hand-written Thank You note from the developer of DARQ. We may use your email to contact you during the Giveaway period (May 7th - May 30th, 2022) only if any concerns arise in regards to the shipping address you've provided. Your contact information will not be used in any other way.

Who we share your personal information with: Nobody.

How long your personal information will be kept: We will keep your Contact Information until May 30th, 2022. Your Contact Information will be permanentely deleted from our database after May 30th, when all Thank You notes have been shipped.

We do not verify the correctness of personal data that we collect or that you provide.

Reasons we can collect and use your personal information: To the extent that such laws apply, we rely on the following as the lawful basis on which we collect and use your personal information:

• Consent: We rely on your implied or explicit consent for the collection, processing, storage, and disclosure of your Contact Information.
• Legal compliance: We may collect, process, and temporarily store your personal information to comply with our legal obligations.

Children’s Privacy: You must be at least 16 years of age to enter the Giveaway. Because of this, we do not knowingly collect any personal information from entrants under the age of 16.

3. Transfer of your Information out of the EEA

Unfold Games is based in the United States. No matter where you are located, you consent to the processing and storage of your information in and to the United States.

The laws of the United States governing data collection and use may not be as comprehensive or protective as the laws of the country where you live.

• Object in certain other situations to our continued processing of your personal information, or otherwise restrict our processing of your personal information in certain circumstances

Those processing your information will do so only in an authorized manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

This privacy policy was published on May 7th, 2022 and has not been updated since.

This privacy policy will not change. It applies to a very short period of time during the Giveaway (May 7th - May 30th, 2022).
